Department of Physical education at Dr.P.G.V.Matric Higher Sec.School organized an Inter House Cross Country Race as part of its 15th Annual Sports Meet in commemoration of the birthday of Perunthalaivar Kamarajar and cause of Women Empowerment through Women education.
The Chief Guest on the occasion K.Manoharan, Sub Inspector of Police (Thudiyalur) flagged off the race for the senior students which started at Pannimadai Kamaraja Statue. Close to 460 students participated in the race which started with great enthusiasm holding placards insisting the necessity and importance of women education and women empowerment.
The winners of different houses were honored and appreciated by the Chief Guest K.Manoharan, and the Secretary Dr.P.Senthilrajkumar, Management Committee Member Kumar and Principal Incharge of this school K.G.Radha.
The event was organized by the school Physical Director Manojkumar and his team.
