11th July saw the Fresher’s Day being solemnized at the Nehru Arts and Science College. All Fresher’s received a warm welcome by the Management, Members of Faculty and Senior Students.
Dr. Anirudhan, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College welcomed Adv. P.Krishna Das, Managing Trustee, NGI, Dr. P.KrishnaKumar, CEO & Secretary, NGI, Chief Guest S.Ramasubramanian, I.F.S Conservator of Forests Working Plan, Coimbatore and Special Guest, Sandhya Menon Associate –Technical Product Support VWR International Private Limited Coimbatore.
The Chief Guest shared his experience about UPSC training, coaching and ways of preparation. He also advised students on how to plan and succeed; stating that he took ten years to become an IPS officer though he failed in his first attempt and it is much easier for the younger minds to reach such positions in a much earlier period.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr.Vijayaraghavan Convener of the programme.
