GKNM celebrates 66th Founder’s Day

GKNM Hospital, the forerunner of reliable and affordable healthcare in Coimbatore came into existence in 1952. Today was a proud moment for GKNM Hospital celebrating, its 66th Founder’s Day. The institution started as a maternity and child care center with 50 beds and has grown today to be an epitome of trustworthy and dependable healthcare center with 650 beds.

The event started with a welcome note delivered by CEO of GKNMH, Ragupathy Velusamy followed by a speech from S. Pathy, President of The Kuppuswamy Naidu Charity Trust for Education & Medical Relief, Coimbatore.

Mohan Parasaran, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Also present was Dr. G. Manoharan, CMO of GKNM Hospital who delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The event also saw recognition of outstanding and selfless service rendered by doctors and staff of the hospital by conferring the Distinguished Service Awards, Performance Excellence Awards and Meritorious Service Awards.
