Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Coimbatore organised a Special Interaction with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda recently at Coimbatore to explore various Trade and Bilateral Investment opportunities between India and Uganda.
Grace Akello, High Commissioner, Republic of Uganda interacted with CII members during the session and highlighted on the possible areas of mutual collaboration between Coimbatore and Uganda. She also explained the assistance and support provided by the Government for setting up business in Uganda. The interaction also focussed on business opportunities in key sectors including, Manufacturing, Education, Infrastructure, Agriculture, Healthcare, Information Technology and others.
The meeting with the High Commissioner was chaired by Prashanth Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Co-Founder & Director, Quadrasystems.net (I) Pvt Ltd.
Arjun Prakash, Immediate Past Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Director, Effica Automation, Shrikumaravelu, Chair, Yi – Coimbatore Chapter & Managing Partner, Tekmak Industrials besides key members representing sectors like Agricultural Machinery, Automation, Foundry, Food Processing, Healthcare, Higher Education, Information Technology and Textiles, participated at this interaction.
