K.Sathish Kumar, a post-graduate student of International Business and Aadya Variyath, a first year Bio-Technology student of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore won Silver and Bronze medals respectively in Ukranine International badminton tournament held at Ukranine recently.
Both the students were felicitated in a function held at college. D.Lakshminarayanaswamy, Magaing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust appreciated both the students and assured all support will be extended from the college for the students to excel in the sports.
The college is supporting sports persons in many ways and free education is given to students excel in national and international level.
K.Sathish Kumar has been selected by the Government of India under the Target Olympic Podium Scheme a flagship program of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports which is an attempt to provide assistance to India’s top athletespotential medal winners in 2024 Olympics.
