Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Kuniamuthur, Coimbatore got Third Rank in National Level in the AICTE-Clean and Smart Campus Award 2020 under the ‘Other Colleges Category’ in an award distribution function held on Sunday at New Delhi.
AICTE has been appreciating the colleges for maintaining the clean and smart campus across India. This year SKCET secured the third rank at national level for maintaining the campus clean and smart, also received this award for second time.
Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan presented the award to J.Janet, Principal, SKCET in the presence of Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, Minister of State for Education and various other AICTE members.
The Institution has achieved this National ranking for its top scores in the ranking parameters of Clean and Smart Campus using best and smart technology to keep campus pollution-free, controlling water wastage, and using natural resources. SKCET was recognised for encouraging Indian Knowledge System in the campus and inculcating Indian tradition in young aspiring minds.
Meanwhile S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee, Sri Krishna Institutions and CEO K.Sundararaman appreciated the Principal, faculty and students for maintaining a clean and smart campus.
