He assured that everyone in the State will witness good governance during Stalin’s reign.

Speaking exclusively to The Covai Mail, D.Ravikumar said that Y’s Men Club of Coimbatore is an NGO that has done many notable charitable activities in the past 12 years. Its members are entrepreneurs from Coimbatore. He shared that the club supports many orphanages and oldage homes, and when the people living in these homes bring their needs to their administrators, they seek the support of Y’s Men. The club makes its own survey of needs and then provides assistance.

“During the Kerala Floods,  Y’s Men Coimbatore took food and other relief materials to the affected regions, 7 times. The people over there said that they needed sanitary items, cleaning materials and medicines more than ever, as people catch fever and fall sick following the incessant rains. Hence that materials were delivered,” the President said.

“ Similarly when the Cyclone Gaja’s impact was hard at Vedaranyam, particularly at a remote village called Katharipulam, we reached there with the District Administrators’ support, provided meals, mosquito nets, battery operated lanterns etc. We also identified 11 people who lost their houses, and started to build new houses for them each at Rs.1 lakh+. This is an ongoing project”, he added.

“We organized massive blood donation awareness program, and conducted marathons to create awareness about donating blood, provided flood relief, organized Marriages for the less fortunate young couples recommended by orphanages under our patronage. We shall be continuing our charitable works in the upcoming days. We will be donating 4 more retro-fitted 2 wheelers to differently abled people.”, he said.
