Sri Krishna Institutions, Coimbatore in association with SRM Institutes for Medical Science (SIMS), Chennai conducted a Covid vaccination camp for the faculties and their family members at its college premises on Sunday. A team of Doctors from SIMS Hospital, Chennai Organized the Vaccination Drive.
Beside this, SKI has been doing various services for the causes of Covid. It has created awareness programmes for the students, faculties and also the community.
Many community-level programmes have been conducted, and assistance was also provided to the District Administration and the State Government. Continuing its efforts in the fight against the COVID pandemic, in joining with SIMS Hospitals, Chennai, organized a vaccination drive for about 800 faculties and their families of Sri Krishna Institutions.
In line with the vaccination drive initiated across the country, SIMS Hospital has been involved in mass vaccination program since January’2021. Since then the hospital has vaccinated more than 22,000 individuals across age groups as per the government guidelines, to protect them from the COVID-19 virus.
S.Malarvizhi, Chairperson and Managing Trustee of Sri Krishna Institutions supported this camp and initiated the vaccine drive. K.Sundararaman, CEO of Sri Krishna Institutions presided over the camp. Raju Sivasamy, Vice-President, Dr.Vikram.P.S.J, Deputy Medical Superintendent, Krishnakanth and Rupan of SIMS along with nursing and technical staff participated in the camp and administered the vaccine for the people.
About 800 faculties and their family members of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology (SKCET), Sri Krishna Arts and Science College (SKASC), Sri Krishna College of Technology (SKCT), Sri Krishna Polytechnic College (SKPTC) and Sri Krishna Adithya College of Arts and Science (SKACAS) got vaccinated.
