National President of BJP Mahila Morcha and the MLA from Coimbatore South Constituency Vanathi Srinivasan chaired the BJP Maharashtra Mahila Morcha State Executive Meeting on Tuesday.
Prior to that, Vanathi exalted the iconic leaders of Maharashtra in Marathi, and paid tribute to them. This surprised and gladdened the gathering.
Also, at the event, a member of BJP Maharashtra Mahila Morcha presented a nose ring to Vanathi, as a part of the Marathi tradition, which she later wore and thanked the members for their love and respect. Several important discussions related to Mahila Morcha’s activities were held at the meeting, and Vanathi shared her opinions at the program.
It must be mentioned that Vanathi Srinivasan is the first Tamil woman to be elevated to the post of National President of BJP’s Mahila Morcha.
