KMCH Sulur Hospital receives NABH Entry-Level Accreditation

For more than 30 years, Kovai Medical Center & Hospital (KMCH), one of the leading quaternary care hospitals in Tamil Nadu remains a trusted name for quality and reliable healthcare in this part of the country.

To provide the services to neighborhood places of Coimbatore, several centers were started by the management under the guidance of Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH in the last two decades.  KMCH’s branches were started at Sulur, Kovilpalayam and Erode.

KMCH Sulur Multi-specialty Center was established in 2016. It is a 100-bedded hospital and it has more than 15 departments, equipped with state of the art equipment, offering quality care to Sulur and other nearby population.

Last year, it had applied for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) for an entry level Accreditation.

NABH audits and certifies high quality care and patient safety. The objective of this certification process is to build a quality culture at all level and across all the function of the healthcare organizations.

Personnel from NABH evaluated KMCH Sulur Center’s standards on safety and quality patient care from the time of admission till the discharge and also evaluated the safety standards for the patients, hospital employees and working environment.

On June 28th 2021, the hospital was awarded with NABH’s Entry Level Accreditation after successfully meeting all the standards and norms framed by the certifying authority.
