Coimbatore based travel agency E-Routes Tours and Travels joined hands with Dr.Kalam Welfare Association in Coimbatore to support the poor folks with food, during this second wave of the covid-pandemic.
A press release mentioned that the organizations are also distributing the food packets to the Covid positive patients who are under quarantine from the beginning of the second wave of Covid and from the first lockdown.
Ranganathan and Sreenithi of E-Routes mentioned that they have served about 25000 packs so far and it is still going on. The food packets are being distributed near the poorer sides of Manikarampalayam and Avarampalayam, Coimbatore GH, Seethalaxmi Hospital every day.
Apart from the free food service, they have distributed about 350 Ration kits to the pro-poor and covid patient’s family members.
The Press release mentioned that E-Routes is ready to make home delivery of free lunch and dinner to Covid positive quarantined patients in and around Avarampalayam, and Gandhipuram and pro-poor area. Those who are in need and interested may contact at 98943-99577.
