Consult trade & industrial bodies before making big decisions – ICCIC

President of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore (ICCIC) C.Balasubramanian appealed to the State Government to allow all the manufacturing activities of the industries to take place during the curfew period.

He welcomed the government’s decision to implement the night curfew, at the same time requested it to consult the trade and industrial bodies before making any significant decisions that can have an effect on the economic activities of the country.

In a press release, issued on Thursday, Balasubramanian said that the imposition of Night Curfew and Sunday Lockdown across the State will certainly yield expected results and control the spread of the Pandemic at the same time he conveyed to the govt that free movement of trucks in Containment Zones and Lockdown areas are necessary throughout 24 hours for our economic activities in this crucial period.

He made an appeal to the TN Government that all types of manufacturing activities should be allowed to function and their employees have to be permitted to attend work on producing their photo ID cards issued by the respective companies.
