Coimbatore Marine College celebrated the 54th National Maritime Day on 5th April 2017 . City police DC, Saravanan was the Chief Guest. S.I. Nathan Chairman of CMC Group of Institutions, presided over the function. The college organized various sports events for the students and the staff to commemorate the occasion. The celebrations also highlight the role of CMC in the industry and sought to promote the development of college in all respect by dissemination of information through Slogan, Poster making, intra-college debate, JAM(Just a Minute), Tug of War, competitions, seminar about National Disaster Management been conducted . Students performed very well in the competitions. Prizes were distributed to all winners.
Impressive route march was also held in the city on completion of oath taking ceremony to generate awareness amongst public about the importance of the National Maritime Day. On this occasion Coimbatore Marine College Principal SenthilKumar & All the Board of Directors , Academic Director , HOD’S , Faculties and the Cadets been attended the Function .
