A 58-Year old man named Mani from Namakkal met with a road accident at Mohanur road in Nammakal on 16.3.21.
He was admitted to Gem Hospital for treatment. He became brain dead and his son agreed to donate his organs to save other sick patients’ life.
The hospital conveyed that Mani’s liver and 1 kidney was transplanted to a patient at GEM Hospital who was suffering from liver-failure.
Mani’s spine and skin were donated to Ganga Hospital, while his other kidney was donated to GKMM Hospital adhering to TRANSTAN’s procedure.
