S.Sathish Kumar, a member of Rotary Club of Chennai Korattur had begun his solo cycle riding on February 23, 2021 from Chennai and he is on a 40-day ride travelling across Tamil Nadu to create polio awareness.
He reached Coimbatore on Friday evening, and he is having a respite here at Vivanta by Taj. He was given an energetic welcome by Rotarians over here that included Rtn.Captain Mathew, PDG, Rtn.Sudhakar, AG, Rtn. Srinivasan Sriraman, Dist.Polio Chair and Rtr.Janani, District Rotaract Representative.
A press release mentioned that Sathish will meet about 40 Rotary clubs en-route and address their meetings to emphasize the effort required to end polio. He will also talk about Polio with the public, the release said. Sathish will continue his travel on March 6th at 9.30 a.m. from Coimbatore spreading the message.
