CM Edappadi launches Vaccination Drive in Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswami  launched the vaccination drive in Tamil Nadu on Saturday at 11 a.m. He launched it from Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai.

In Tamil Nadu, Dr.K.Senthil, President, Tamil Nadu Medical Council,Dr J.A . Jayalal National President of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and a frontline warrior named Muthumari took the vaccines first, second and third respectively.

Vaccines will be administered to the 4.89 lakh  frontline warriors and healthcare personnel initially in Tamil Nadu at 166 vaccination centers. Most of them have volunteered to take the vaccine, a source said.

Tamil Nadu has received 5.56 lakh vaccines in the first phase from the centre and they have been sent to the districts in the State. CM said on Saturday that he too will get the vaccine shots for sure.

A source shared that vaccines for 41,640 in Coimbatore have been provided.
