Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (Autonomous), (formerly SNR SONS College, Coimbatore) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
A.V.V.M Sri Pushpam College (Autonomous), Poondi, Thanjavur recently.
According to a release, the objectives were to facilitate a collaborative program of research, training, curriculum, institutional development, student capacity building, information dissemination and exchange of faculty, students and staff of Biotechnology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nutritional Science, Environmental, Biodiversity, Bio-prospecting and allied areas of Biotechnology for technological development between the two institutions to strengthen the mutual relationship.
Dr. J. Karthikeyan, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science (SR-CAS), and Dr. P. Pandiyan, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany and Microbiology, A.V.V.M Sri Pushpam College, Poondi will be the nodal officers during the entire period when the MoU is in operation.
