KPR College of Arts, Science and Research hosted a webinar with the objective to enrich skills and empower youth. It was jointly organized by the college’s (SoM)-MILES 2020 and Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) on Monday. The webinar started with the welcome address by the Principal Balusamy.
The Guest speaker of the webinar was Raj Nehru, Vice Chancellor, Shri Viswakarma Skill University, Haryana. He gave an overview on Skills needed for students to empower themselves. He stated that students need both domain Skills and Platform skills like Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, etc.
He said that the most needed skills for the students is patience, and he emphasized that students should cultivate this skill. Nearly 400 students, faculty members of KPRCAS and research scholars of various institutions participated and benefited. The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Prof.S.Vanitha
