500 NCC Students take part in Dengue Awareness Rally

Although the mortality rate due to dengue, which has shaken the state for the past few months, has abated, in order to further eliminate the spread of the virus and create public awareness of the dreaded disease, NSS volunteers of PSG College of Technology, along with 500 NCC cadets, organized a rally recently.

The rally proceeded through the important roads of Peelamedu and student volunteers created awareness among the public through slogans, placards and banners depicting various control measures to be taken to prevent dengue.

Earlier, The Chief Guest Dr. R. Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG College of Technology who flagged-off the rally, complimented the students for taking up the rally at the right juncture.

Dr. Natarajan, Dean, Major Kannan, Company Commander, 4 Tamil Nadu Battalion NCC, Dr. Theivarasu, and Team of NCC Officers  and NSS Program Officers were also present during the rally.
