The Department of Computer Applications at Bharathiar University (BU) announced on Monday that it has started to welcome applications for MCA, M.Sc. Data Analytics, M.Sc. Cyber Security and PGDCA in Cognitive Systems for the academic year 2020-21.
The Eligibility Criteria for admission of students to MCA, M.Sc.Data Analytics, M.Sc Cyber Security and PGDCA Programs are as follows:
MCA : A pass in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration BCA/B.Sc (Computer Science/Computer Technology/Information Technology/Computer System and Design) or equivalent with Mathematics as a course at Higher Secondary Level or at Graduate Level. The candidate should have appeared for TANCET 2020/Bharathiar University MCA Entrance Test 2020.
M.Sc. Data Analytics: A pass in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics or Statistics as anyone of the subjects at Graduate Level.
M.Sc. Cyber Security: A pass in Bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years duration BCA, B.Sc. (Computer Science/Computer Technology/Information Technology/Computer System and Design), B.E. (Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology Engineering) or equivalent with Mathematics as a course at Higher Secondary Level or at graduate level. The candidate should have appeared for Bharathiar University – Cyber Security Entrance Test.
PGDCA in Cognitive Systems (in collaboration with TCS) : A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Mathematic/Statistics/Physics or equivalent.
Students should apply only through online by logging onto university website https://b-u.ac.in/ or https://b-u.ac.in/Home/Applications and necessary fee should be paid through online/DD/NEFT only. The applications should be sent before 24.08.2020 (Monday)
