TN’s MoUs with 8 companies gives more than Rs.10,000 crore investment

By signing MoU with 8 companies on Monday, Tamil Nadu Government has brought in a huge Rs.10,399 crore investment to the statement, which will create more than 13,000 jobs in the State in the coming days.

In an event held at the Chief Secretariat, 5 MoUs were signed in the presence of CM Edapaddi K.Palaniswami, while 3 were signed via video-conferencing platform to establish new industrial-companies.  Vikram Solar, Aquasub, NDR Infrastructure, GI Agrotech, Hiranandani, ELGi and JS Autocast are the companies that signed the MoU with the State. M.C.Sampath, TN Minister for Industrial Department and Chief Secretary, K.Shanmugam were also present.

Projects in Coimbatore

Projects from Aquasub and ELGi will be implemented in Coimbatore District. ELGi’s Chairman, Jairam Varadharaj signed the MoU virtually.

ELGi will make investments worth Rs. 250 crores and create approximately 600 jobs while Aquasub will make investments worth Rs 200 and create 400 jobs.
