PSG College of Technology, well known in Coimbatore as PSG Tech has been ranked by India Today magazine as the 9th Best Private Engineering College in India. Just like last year, the college has held its position among the Top 10 Engineering Private Colleges in the country.
PSG College of Technology was established in the year 1951 by PSG & Sons’ Charities. One of the iconic academicians of India Dr.G.R.Damodaran was the Founder Principal of this institution whose phenomenal contribution has been instrumental in the elevation of this college as globally reputed engineering college. The college was given the autonomous status in the academic year 1978-79.
L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee of PSG & Sons’ Charities, like his revered predecessors is giving valuable guidance to the institution. Just like the former principals, the current Principal (i/c) Dr.Prakasan is steering the institution towards excellence. Very successful alumni from this institution have become accomplished industrialists, scientists, academicians and even international administrators.
