Using 5500 rice grains in the drawing, he appeals the public to wash hands clean to keep Coronavirus away and remain indoors.

Out of the 5500 rice grains, 2600 have been used in the making the portion of hand. In all those grains, he has minutely written ‘Save Home, Save India’

” I see and hear in the news that lot of people leave home during this lockdown. The public has been asked by the government to stay inside but lot of us don’t take it seriously.

Instead of just saying through words, I thought of conveying the message through art. It took me 5 days to do this work. I want the message to reach the public’s eyes. Through this, if just 10% of people change their opinion and stay indoors, the purpose of this art will be fulfilled” says Manoharan.

He is well-known for drawing the emblem of Semmozhi Maanadu on 11,000 rice grains in 2010. He wrote 1330 thirukural on those rice grains and presented it during the mega event and got appreciated from Kalaignar Karunanithi.
