Nita Ambani, Founder & Chairperson, Reliance Foundation announced on Tuesday that through Reliance Foundation’s Meal Distribution Program, they are aiming to feed lakhs of people especially the marginalised and daily wage communities during this tough times caused by Covid-19.
An official announcement from the foundation was shared by Reliance Jio in its Facebook page on Tuesday. Nita Ambani had said ” as the nation comes together to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, all of us at Reliance Foundation stand in solidarity with our countrymen and women, especially those on the front lines to whom we pledge our full support. Our doctors and staff have helped set up India’s first Covid Hospital and are committed to support the government in exhaustive screening, testing, prevention, and treatment of Covid – 19.”
Reliance Industries has also pledged Rs. 500 Crores for PM-CARES Fund.
