Prepaid Customers in India would find recharging their mobile account and extending their validity a tough task during this lockdown period due to Covid-19.
Keeping in mind the difficulty people would face, the Telecom Ministry and TRAI have advised Telecos to extend validity of the prepaid customers till the Lockdown Period.
While TRAI has asked other telecos to extend validity, BSNL has extended it to its prepaid customers effective from today.
ANI reported Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad who said ” prepaid sims of BSNL customers will not be discontinued till April 20th. For outgoing calls, a Rs.10 incentive has been provided automatically fron today so that poor people and needy people continue to work”
