First Time in Coimbatore
KMCH – Kovai Medical Center & Hospital, one of the finest Multi Specialty hospitals in Tamil Nadu has reinforced its fight against Covid-19 (Coronavirus) by dedicating an exclusive Fever Hospital in Kalapatti Road.
In line with Central, State and Local Administration, to fight against novel coronavirus, KMCH has dedicated this new hospital in a separate campus that is away from the main hospital. It has 128 beds with required infrastructure and equipment to handle suspected patients.
A separate team of medical and paramedical team have been allocated to this hospital exclusively, so that the team at Main Hospital is not disturbed.
Dr.Nalla G.Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH conveyed that the new hospital will be ready to treat patients from 26.3.2020. He said “the access to this new hospital will be made available only for suspected patients and those with fever. Patients seeking medical advise for other specialties should use the Avanashi Road entrance.”
In his direct address to the people of Coimbatore, the veteran said “The Tamil Nadu Government has taken right decision to put the State under Section 144. I sincerely thank the State and Central Government for this measure.”
