Med-fraternity learn about Tech Advancements in Radiation Oncology

The Department of Radiation Oncology under the Comphrenshive Cancer Care unit at KMCH is organizing the National Young Radiation Oncology Conference, YROC 2020 for two days – 18.01.2020 and 19.01.2020. The theme for this national meeting is to prepare the next generation of budding radiation oncologists for the inevitable technological advancements for the decade ahead.

Leading medical professionals and delegates from all over India numbering more than150 participated so far.  Many international & national faculty contributed to knowledge sharing in this conference.  A guided tour of KMCH Radiation Oncology Department was undertaken and this served as a platform to share the Hospital’s expertise and showcase the department’s armamentarium to the rest of the radiation oncology community.

Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman, KMCH stressed the importance of accessibility of high end radiotherapy technology to all sections of the community and the steps undertaken by the hospital management to make sure that patients benefit from this cutting edge treatments at an affordable cost.
