The protest against Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 is still going firm in different parts of the country and yesterday, the Chennai city police arrested 8 person which included 5 young women for drawing anti-CAA kolams (drawings) .The kolams were drawn near Besant Nagar area.Cases were registered against them.
Showing support for the arrested and the protest, M.K.Stalin, President, DMK tweeted anti-CAA Kolams at his residence and at the residence of late Tamil Nadu CM Karunanidhi.
Many have drawn such protesting Kolams in front of their home and in the streets to show that they stand in solidarity with the arrested and with the protestors.
