The 22nd Match of the Hero I-League 2019 saw Chennai City FC and Neroca FC fight for glory at the Nehru Stadium, Coimbatore to be a step ahead in the league.
The first half began with a slow pace but Chennai City FC’s Katsumi Yusa and Mashoor Shereef added a goal each and the first half was in Chennai’s Control.
Neroca’s Khaiminthang’s goal at the additional time post the ending of the First Half saved the team from being wiped clean in the first half.
Chennai’s agility was red hot and they made all efforts to win the match but Siaka Diarra of Neroca made another goal and equalled the score.
The regular time mark touched 90 mins and it went for overtime of 4 mins in which both players remained each other’s equal and the game ended in a draw.
Khauminthang of Neroca FC was announced as Hero of the Match. The total number of attendees was 12,307 and the Crowd was behind Chennai all evening.
