August 13th is world organ donation day. To increase the awareness amongst the masses on organ donation to public we take this opportunity to address some myths and fears related to organ donation, says Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Young Indians (Yi), Coimbatore chapter whom jointly organizes the event.
This world organ donation day is to be held at Nani Palkhivala Auditorium, Mani Higher Secondary School at 6.00 PM on August 13th. Noted actor and orator, Sivakumar will address the gathering on the topic ‘Gift of Life’. Gift an Organ initiative is a public event to honor the families of donors, whose organs were used in saving the lives of many people.
