CMS Group of Educational Institutions conducted its 14th Graduation Day on 9th December 2019 at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore. Total number of 1036 students from both Under Graduate & Post Graduate programs was conferred degrees in this ceremony. CMS Institute of Management Studies received 5 university ranks including a Gold Medal.
Prof.Dr.K.Murugan, Registrar (i/c), Prof & Head – Department of Zoology , Bharathiar University was the Chief Guest of the program. In his graduation day address lauded the graduates on their successful completion of their degrees and motivated them for progression to higher education. He also spoke at length on the role of youth in nation building.
P. Gopalakrishnan, Chairman of CMS Educational & Charitable Trust in his presidential address appreciated the hard work and determination of the young grandaunts. He also expressed his deliberations towards the yeomen service rendered by the alumni globally and enumerated the role played by CMS Group of Educational Institutions in Coimbatore.
The office bearers of CMS Educational and Charitable Trust, R.Vikraman, Vice Chairman, V.Chandrakumar, Secretary, P.Vijayakumar, Joint Secretary, and B.Ravikumar, Treasurer and Dr. S. Sandhya Menon, CEO, CMS Group of Institutions graced the occasion with their valuable presence.
Earlier, Dean Academics of CMS College of Science and Commerce H.R.Vivek welcomed the gathering. Followed by the award of degrees, the graduates vouched to be honest in the discharge of their duties and serve for the growth of their motherland.
