Food is the basic need of life and we get food only through farming. To celebrate farming and farmers, S.Sengotayan Gownder Educational Trust and Sri Shakthi College of Engineering and Technology together presents the 4th year of “Velan Thiruvizha” on the 3rd , 4th and 5th of January 2020.
This three days mega festival is to take place at the Sri Shakthi College of Engineering and Technology’s Campus itself. The main motto of this event is to create awareness about organic farming and its technologies.
With this program, Project Expo is also set to take place in which the college students will participate. Students who are willing to promote farming and find better & new ways in farming can participate in this Project Expo.
UAV technologies for development of Agriculture, Innovative farm equipment design, IOT and AI for farming are the three categories in which the students can participate. In each category, the best three projects will receive cash prizes and each Category securing first prize will receive free incubation at the Sri Shakthi College of Engineering and Technology to take their project to the next level.
Maximum four students can be in a team. The titles of the projects which they are going to work on must be registered before 20th November. The selected projects can participate in the Velan Thiruvizha on January 4th. Contact : 9489435064
