‘Education in Ireland’ conducts first education fair

To promote Irish Higher Education Institutions overseas,  ‘Education in Ireland’-the national brand under the authority of the Minister for Education and Skills, Ireland conducted its first education fair in Coimbatore on 14.10.2019 in The Residency Towers. Students and others who were interested to know about the merits of studying in Ireland participated in the event with their parents. 

Barry O’Driscoll, Senior Education Adviser, India – Education in Ireland briefed the gathering. He said “India has been an influential market in terms of both trade and international students export for Ireland. Many students who aspire for receiving higher-education in foreign countries are now being aware of Ireland providing globally recognized degrees & courses, benefits of working part-time and a 24 month stay back option has contributed to the rising the education exports.”Barry personally addressed queries of students & parents present at the fair.

It was conveyed through a statement that one of the major reasons why Indian students are heading to Ireland is a host of scholarships that are offered by education institutions. Today, over 200 scholarships are available for aspiring Indian students at higher level either undergraduate or postgraduate studies.
