Rotary Club of Kovaipudur has announced a massive financial assistance to a silambam artist named P.Tamilarasan from Coimbatore who has been selected to represent India as a team in the upcoming Silambam World Cup 2019 that is scheduled to take place in Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia from 3.10.2019 to 6.10.2019.
The amount is more than Rs.50,000 and in order to support such an incredible talent from Coimbatore to take the international stage, the club has volunteered to sponsor a portion of the expenses. A special ceremony was organized in Govt High School, Sugunapuram. The club’s president Rtn. Bhinu and Secretary Rtn.Sriraam along with GDR Rtns. Ramkumar and Srinivasan and the members of the club attended, gave motivation and handed over the cheque to R.Tamilarasan during the function.
