The calendar features 12 couples who have looked beyond themselves as disability-rights activists, entrepreneurs, artists, writers, professionals, sportspersons, academicians and more.

Most of them have won accolades from the state and central governments. They also lead successful personal lives as a parent, spouse or sibling. They challenge the societal norms and are the harbingers of change.

The calendar was launched by K. Rajamani, District Collector, Coimbatore in the presence of J. Swarnalatha, Managing Trustee, Dr. Guru Prasad, Trustee, Swarga Foundation, Dr. R. V. Ramani, Founder and Managing Trustee, Sankara Eye Foundation and Sumit Sharan IPS, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore.

Swarga Foundation’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals with Multiple Sclerosis and other neuro-muscular disorders by increasing awareness among the general public and thereby transforming the general attitude in society towards differently-abled individuals.

The first order of the calendar was made by Manoharan, NTA Noida.
