The Research Department of Library and Information Science of Kongunadu Arts and Science College in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell conducted “A one day Workshop on Plagiarism Software Usage” on 12/07/2019 at Kongunadu Digital Media Centre situated in the Library and Information Centre.
The Workshop is conducted on the advice of Dr.C.A. Vasuki, Secretary and Director, Dr.M. Lekeshmanaswamy, Principal presides over the function. Dr.R. Senthilkumar, Librarian (SG) & Head, Research Department of Library and Information Science, served as an organising secretary.
Dr.R. Balasubramani, Assistant Professor, Bharathidasan University acted as the Resource Person. In this workshop, hands-on training was given on the topic ‘What is Plagiarism?’ How to Protect the Plagiarism by using the software (URKUND) ?’, etc, and a discussion was held on them in a detailed manner. Faculty members with domain knowledge and interest participated and interacted with the Resource Person.
