PSG-STEP’S Innosphere -DST PRAYAS Centre launched

Innosphere , PSG-Science & Technology Entrepreneurial Park’s DST PRAYAS Centre was launched recently in PSG College of Technology in the presence of L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG & Sons’ Charities.

The Chief Guest of the event was H.K.Mittal, Adviser & Head, National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development board, Department of Science &Technology, Govt.of India.

R.Rudramoorthy, Principal, PSG College of Technology after welcoming the gathering, highlighted the remarkable contributions PSG-STEP had contributed to the city of Coimbatore in grooming it to be technologically ready to invite IT sector as early as the years 1998.  He proudly stated that PSG-STEP has provided the technological-nurturing (providing the space, technology, guidance) required for the success of 150 start-ups and currently PSG-STEP is supporting another 100.

He thanked the Managing Trustee of PSG Institutions for the empowerment he provides through the PSG & Sons’ Charities.

The Keynote Addresses were delivered by Murali Sundaram, Technology Consultant, Npedia Technologies, Chennai; Ramamurthy, President, CODISSIA; V.Sundaram, Director, CODISSIA Defence Innovations& Atal Incubation Centre and P.Bala, CO, EMF Innovations.  They congratulated PSG-STEP’s newest offering Innosphere and conveyed to the gathering about the abundant potentials and progress that could be achieved via technology and how Technology Incubation Centres like the one that is offered by PSG could help hundreds of young and innovative minds to bring their start-up dreams to life.

The Chief Guest in his address lauded the magnanimous and meticulous efforts taken by PSG & Sons’ Charities to foster technology and innovation in India. He wished if he had the power to time-travel , he would meet the ancestors of L.Gopalakrishnan and ask them build hundreds and thousands of PSG Institutions. He said PSG-STEP is being a role model to its contemporaries across the country and he has suggested many to visit PSG-STEP to know how to better start an incubation facility. Before concluding, he wished everyone in attendance (which included young start-up Proprietors) to convert their ideas to prototypes.
