G.Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital is organizing India’s first conclave on career guidance along with sessions on lifestyle management for anesthesiologist across India. The conclave is a two day event that commenced on 04.05.2019 and concludes on 05.05.2019.
This conclave is hosted to provide an understanding on various opportunities for anesthesiologists through panel discussions conducted by stalwarts in the field of Anesthesiology from across the country. The topics discussed focuses on sub-specialties like Pediatrics, Critical Care, pain cardiac and Nuero Anesthesia.
“Hearing from the experts gives a deeper insight on the subject and would help the pursuing doctors in opting for their preferred sectors in Anesthesiology, it would exchange ideas and knowledge that would make learning a worthy experience” , said Dr.Rajani Sundar, Organising Patron of the event and Chairperson, Department of Anesthesiology, GKNM Hospital.
Apart from focusing on career opportunities, what makes this event unique are the offbeat topics and workshops to be conducted for the doctors. “Not many realize the stress and lifestyle change doctors go through, to deal with such situations like presentation skills and public speaking, money management along with meditation conducted by ISHA Yoga.
The highlight of the event would be a fellowship trek to Palamalai for doctors who would be attending the conclave from across the country,” opined Dr.Dinesh Kumar Gunasekaran, the Organising Secretary of GOOA Conclave. He also expressed his interest on making the conclave a truly offbeat yet a learning curve for Anesthesiologists attending the event.
