The Valediction of Associations and Clubs of Dr. N. G. P. Arts and Science College was held recently at NGP Conference Centre in the college premises.
The clubs are divided into three categories viz., Academic Club, Research and Development Club and Extracurricular club.
Totally, college functions with 41 clubs including 23 Extra-curricular, 14 Academic and 4 Research and Development have been designed to develop students’ character building and to encourage their active participation in extracurricular activities, presentation skills, extemporaneous speech, reaching acme in enacting, enhancing reading skills, showcasing their ability in reviewing a movie. These clubs provide opportunities to innovate their hidden talents to lights.
Dr. Nalla G. Palaniswami, Chairman KMCRET, presided over function and encouraged the students for actively take part in the club activities. Dr. Thavamani D. Palaniswami, Secretary, Dr. N.G.P Arts and Science College, welcomed the gathering and congratulated the prize winners and motivated them to enrich their research knowledge through participating in various competitions. Dr. O. T. Bhuvaneswaran CEO, KMCRET, acclaimed the prize winners. Principal, Dr. V. Rajendran, felicitated the occasion.
