The Western Ghats International School (TWGIS) celebrated its annual day recently in a grand manner. The program was presided over by the Sashi Kumaar Samraj, Chairman. The Chief Guest of the function was Amuktha Mahapatra, Educational Consultant to UNICEF. The Guest of Honour was Sundara Kumar, Deputy Commandant of Rapid Action Force.
Amuktha, the Chief Guest and Sundara Kumar, the Guest of Honor presented the meritorious awards to the students for their academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular accomplishments.
Amuktha addressed the students, parents and teachers on the title “Uniqueness of Montessori”.
A special Stamp on the achievement of Mission Sakthi of ISRO, which was authorized and printed by the postal Department, was released during the program.
Totally 670 students of The Western Ghats International School and Kids of Dora Montessori Schools staged a colourful and vibrant cultural programme on the theme – ‘Timeline’. Victory anthem on ISRO’s achievement exclusively created and choreographed by the school students was performed with Great Spirit of patriotism.
