KMCH’s Pulmonology Department is conducting a two-day workshop on advanced bronchoscopy on 16th & 17th. This course aims at developing practical skills and knowledge of advanced level of bronchoscopy among the practicing pulmonologists. This unique programme is endorsed by Indian association of Bronchology and Coimbatore respiratory Society and accredited by Tamil Nadu Medical council.
Bronchoscopy is a technique where an endoscope meant for lung is introduced in to the lungs through nostrils to diagnose and treat various types of lung diseases. Advanced bronchoscopic techniques like cryo-technology, argon plasma coagulation, rigid bronchoscopy which are available only in very few centres in the country, these techniques are being discussed in the programme by the International and national experts and stalwarts in this field.
More than 100 doctors from various parts of the country participated in this workshop.
