CII organizes 18th Edition of Connect Coimbatore

Businesses across the world are relying on AI and Automation to increase efficiency and reduce costs. These changes can also impact jobs and current business models, and hence it is very important that as individuals and business, we are alive to these changes and possibilities so that we can convert digital disruption into digital opportunity.

 

Initiated with an objective of “Showcasing Coimbatore as an ICT investment destination” in the country, Connect Coimbatore series of conferences have come a long way in terms of supporting organizations in non-IT sectors in the Coimbatore region, primarily in improving their business processes using ICT tools as their backbone.

 

With the theme, “The Fourth Industrial Revolution – How it can impact you?”, the ICT Panel of CII Coimbatore zone organized the 18th edition of Connect Coimbatore 2019 at Coimbatore. Connect Coimbatore 2019 aims to take you through some of these technologies that can profoundly impact the way we work and live.

 

The event started with the Welcome Address by R.Varadarajan, Chairman, CII Coimbatore Zone & Whole time Director, Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals Ltd. The Special Address was delivered by Suresh Raman, Head- Chennai Region, TCS and Devesh Tyagi, Senior Director- Software Technology Parks of India, New Delhi while the inaugural address was delivered by Santhosh Babu IAS, Principal Secretary-IT, Govt.of Tamil Nadu.

 

The event saw sessions being conducted on Emergence of Artificial intelligence, Create your tomorrow Today, Privacy & Security, operating securely in digital world, Robotic Process Automation, Jumpstart Industry 4.0 and likewise by eminent speakers from different industries. At the end of each session, there was an interaction between the speakers and the gathering to help understand things in a better way.
