Extra-Curricular activities boosts one’s morale

Nehru College of Management (NCM) conducted Genesis’19 – a yearly one day National Level Inter-collegiate Cultural meet for UG students. It was organized with the intention of bringing out the competitive spirit in the undergraduates. The intercollegiate meet was inaugurated at P. K. Das Memorial Hall. Roopa, Head HR – Poornam Info Vision Pvt Ltd, Kochi and Alumnus of NCM was the Chief Guest and E.P. Praveen, Territory Sales Manager, Guardian Glass, Chennai and Alumnus of NCM was the Guest of Honor.

S. Franklin John, Principal, NCM welcomed the gathering. P. Krishnakumar, CEO & Secretary, Nehru Group of Institutions delivered the Presidential Address. A souvenir titled Youth Brigade was released during the event.

Roopa, the Chief Guest in her inaugural speech expressed that extra-curricular activities are a great way to boost one’s morale that would help discover and expose the unknown side of oneself, in turn growing richly in experience and skills alike. This platform is a means that would develop a student’s competency in their specific areas on interest.  Vineeth, Vice–Chairman, Student Development Council delivered the vote of thanks. 2960 students from 86 colleges in and around Tamil Nadu & Kerala participated in this mega intercollegiate fest.
