Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology, Chennai has sponsored an In-service Training programme for Science and Mathematics teachers of class VI to VIII from government schools of Coimbatore district to PSG College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. The event has begun today and will go on till 22nd February, 2019.
The training program aims at training the teachers to the concepts of new curriculum introduced by the School Education Department of Tamil Nadu. Professors at PSG College of Arts & Science will train the teachers with concepts from basic and applied science subjects relevant to school children.
The sessions for five day training will include activity based teaching techniques, science activities, IQ tuning in children and training in science and Maths subjects.
Chief Education Officer of Coimbatore district P.Ayyannan inaugurated the programme and the college takes pride in offering such training said D. Brindha, the Principal, PSG College of Arts & Science.
