In connection with the Productivity Week Celebrations 2019, CPC organised a Quiz and Paper Presentation Contest for the College students of the city on the theme of the Productivity Week Celebrations. The competitions were hosted in PSG IM’s Convention Hall.
K.Chitra, Governing Body Member & Principal, SRCAS-Women, Coimbatore delivered the Inaugural Address. She appreciated CPC for conducting such a need program that is of great importance to the young community.
She highlighted that the resources will deplete if we keep following the current system of production and it is vital that we rethink and redesign the future. She cautioned that we should not let our children ask us what is natural resources.
Prof.Vivek of PSG IM delivered a special address and he briefly warned the people of mammoth plastic debris in the Pacific and said we need to make a change and through programs such as this by CPC, the young minds will be ignited.
Prof.M.Rangarajan of PSG CAS who is a renowned and celebrated Quiz Master hosted the quiz for the students. 83 participants from 22 colleges participated in the quiz. Guru Selvaraj, GM-HR & IR, Flow Link Systems, Pvt.Ltd, Coimbatore and B.Mohanraj, GM-HR, GTN Engineering (India) Ltd served as the judges for the paper presentation. 29 participants from 7 colleges presented papers.
