Apple’s iPhones are a craze among youngsters. Almost everyone wants to own an iPhone due to its sophistication and fame. The features present in Apple’s line of smartphones are quite revolutionary and state of the art. But as of late the sales of iPhone in India is not that overwhelming. Several industry reports have confirmed that Apple’s sales in India dropped by 50%. 2018 has been a poor year for the richest smartphone company and in a moment like this, there are several rumors going on full swing that this year we will be feasting our eyes on iPhone SE’s successor – iPhone SE2.
The rumors include that the SE2 will come with an improved 4.2 inch screen with notch, 3GB of RAM, Apple’s A 11 chipset, Face ID, Glass back finish and there are much more going on with insiders and well-known leakers of the tech-savvy community. iPhone SE was a mid-range smart-phone with a balanced price tag of Rs. 30,000. In today’s market, almost all the Apple’s iPhone’s variants have gone to a minimum of 50,000 INR which is too much a price for many.
If iPhone SE2 becomes a reality, then it could be expected to be around INR 35,000 to 40,000 as we all know Apple is not making much from its smartphones due to its exorbitant price range. So before the love for apple fades, the company must take measures. If it depends only on the elite to buy them, then there could be some trouble in paradise for Apple as other manufacturers like Oppo, Vivo, Nokia and Moto are offering tremendous feature rich Smart-phones at the 30K price tag.
Along with this, Apple has to watch out for OnePlus who has dethroned the Tim Cook lead company as the new king of Indian Smart-phone Empire. OnePlus has given elite features in a not so exorbitant price tag. The question to Apple, India now is ‘Will Apple wake up?’ and Apple could give a fantastic reply if the rumored iPhone SE2 makes its debut this year as speculated.
