The 31st Annual Day Celebration of National Model Matric Higher Secondary School – Mahotsav was splendidly organized recently. Dr.T.Balaji, Managing Trustee, Coimbatore Cancer Foundation was the Chief Guest of the event. The students of the school invoked the presence of the Almighty elegantly. K.Radhamani, Senior Principal welcomed the gathering. The students of the school astounded the gathering by not just delivering sensational performances but also by doing the Master of Ceremony in an extremely professional way. The Annual Academic and Sports Reports were not read but masterfully recited by the students who continued to amaze the audience with their talent.
The event witnessed the students of the school donating a van to the Coimbatore Cancer Foundation with the funds they raised through Namma Grammam – A Traditional Fair Event. The students handed over the key to Dr.T.Balaji. Besides that a T.V. was donated to the Cheshire Homes. The prize distribution ceremony ensued and the Chief Guest gave away the prizes to the academic and sports winners.
This was followed by the cultural activities and the event came to an end with the National Anthem.
