Logistics Sector Skill Council (LSC), established by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) through National Skill Development Corporation of India (NSDC), has designed an Apprenticeship based UG Degree Programme with the primary objective of creating adequate skill for gainful employment at supervisory / managerial levels in Logistics Industry .
The Core focus of the above program is Skill Development, and hence nearly 60% of the progamme component and duration constitute “On –The Job Training” in the form of Industry Apprenticeship.
LSC also secures final placements for all students in the salary range of Rs 20,000 and Rs 25,000 on successful completion of the Degree programme.
The MoU paving way for Introduction of this Programme at PSG College of Arts & Science was signed by Capt. T.S. Ramanujam, CEO, LSC and D.Brindha, Principal, PSG College of Arts & Science .
