Hindusthan Matriculation School, in order to spread and preserve the joy & tradition of wearing Dhoti, organized Dhoti Day Celebrations for their students from classes 1 std to 5 std recently. The children were encouraged to wear the dhoti from their home and parents too expressed their support to sustain our proud heritage. This event was organized to spread awareness among the students to love and follow their culture.
The little boys wore their dhoti along with attractive shirts and some of them sported shades to add sweetness to the already charming outlook. We heard through their faculty that they have plans to encourage students from Pre KG to 12th Std to wear dhoti during Pongal Celebrations.
