Street style artists to woo Coimbatoreans

Coimbatore is one city which is constantly known to innovate new things and why not, it’s after all the birthplace of the Edison of India, G.D.Naidu. The city is always in the news and this time it is “Eat Street” being conducted by The Coimbatore District Hoteliers Association.

Eat Street is a street style food festival based on the concept of the hugely successful Taste of Coimbatore. During the event, one can find all traditional foods of Coimbatore along with traditional art forms besides from other modern day dishes like milkshakes, pizza and ice-cream.

Entry fee for the event is INR 30/- and can be used on any day. Stalls set to be put up during the event will have to opt for a temporary FSSAI license. There will be lucky draw in association with 7up every 1hour. In view of plastic ban, authorities from FSSAI and Sanitary inspectors will be present at the venue. Eat Street will be on for three days from  January 4th – 6th near CODISSIA with a total of 125-130 stalls out of which 85 will be exclusively food stalls.
